These terms cover your use of authored.com.au, run by Campbell Jensen, trading as authored. (ABN 85 745 873 010), Melbourne, Australia. Using the site means you accept them.
What this site is
authored.com.au introduces the studio and shows a selection of its work. Nothing on it is an offer to sell anything, and nothing on it is a quote. A commission is scoped, priced and agreed in writing for each job, and the written quote or agreement for that job is what governs it, including usage rights, delivery, payment and cancellation. Where those documents and these terms differ, those documents apply to the commission.
Copyright in the photographs and films
I own the copyright in the photographs and films on this site unless a client agreement says otherwise. Commissioned work is shown here with the permission of the client it was made for, and the rights they hold in it are theirs. Client names and logos belong to those clients and appear as a record of work done, not as an endorsement.
You may not copy, download, scrape, reproduce or republish any image or film from this site, including to train machine learning or generative AI systems, without my written permission. The same goes for the text, design and code.
Licensing of existing work for editorial or commercial use is available on request. Email campbell@authored.com.au.
The Certificate of Authenticity
Work delivered by the studio comes with an authored. Certificate of Authenticity, which records that the work was made by a named photographer and describes how it was produced. The certificate is a statement of provenance issued by the studio. What it covers for a particular commission is set out in the certificate itself and in the agreement for that job.
Introductions to the agency
Introducing yourself through the Join the agency form does not oblige me to offer you work, and it does not oblige you to take it if I get in touch. Any engagement is a separate arrangement agreed in writing at the time. By sending an introduction you confirm that what you send is accurate and that you have the right to send it.
The people in the photographs
The people who appear in the work on this site took part in the commissions they were photographed for. Their appearance does not mean they endorse the studio or anything on this site.
Your use of this site
Use it lawfully. Do not interfere with it, do not try to get unauthorised access, and do not use automated tools to harvest what is on it.

This site links to my other sites and to third parties. I am not responsible for the content of sites I do not control.
Liability
I take care to keep this site accurate and available, but I cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. As far as the law allows, and apart from liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, I am not liable for loss arising from your use of it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
