Photography with an author behind it.
authored. is my photography studio. I think the best work starts with a conversation rather than a brief, so before I pick up a camera I want to understand what you're building and why it matters to you.
No project is too small. I've photographed corner cafés and fashion houses, first albums and sold-out shows. Size has never really been the point for me. What matters is that you care about what you're making.
I really value working in relationships. The projects I enjoy most are the ongoing ones, where I get to help a business grow over years rather than a single afternoon. Book-and-shoot has its place, but I do my best work when there's trust and a bit of time.
Photography and videography lead together. When a project needs more, I bring in people I trust for styling, design and social, and we build it into the shoot rather than adding it on afterwards. You get a team when the work needs one, and my eye across all of it.
I think audiences have become very good at telling what a machine made from what people made with care. That is the whole reason authored. exists. Real places, real light, real hands.
If any of this sounds like you, I'd love to chat. A call or a coffee is the best place to start.
